The first images of the upcoming Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Roadster have hit the Web.
The limited-edition convertible will be presented to the public for the first time this September at the Frankfurt Motor show.

Unique and Emotional

Automobili Lamborghini has announced a roadster version of its Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce. The roadster will be limited to 500 units.

The Aventador Superveloce coupé version made its UK debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed in June, on display and running ‘up the hill’, with Lamborghini President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann in attendance.

Speaking at Goodwood, Stephan Winkelmann confirmed production of the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Roadster.

“The Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce is the most pure, sports-oriented and emotional incarnation of a Lamborghini, and all 600 units have been sold, with first deliveries starting now. We will also produce a roadster version, which our dealers worldwide are now taking orders for.”

The Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce was shown at Geneva motor show earlier this year. The Superveloce accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of more than 350 km/h (217 mph).

Compared to the Aventador LP 700-4, the power output of the Superveloce has been increased by 50 hp and the weight reduced by 50 kg. Interior pictures are not available yet, but the Roadster is expected to gain carbon fiber bucket seats and a SV-specific instrument cluster borrowed directly from the coupe.

Stay tuned: Lamborghini will fully reveal the Aventador SuperVeloce Roadster in the weeks leading up to the Frankfurt Motor Show. Production will be limited to just 500 examples — 100 fewer than the coupe — and the SV is expected to sell out quickly in spite of a base price that will lie in the vicinity of 450.000 Euro ($500,000).

Bentley is taking its fusion of luxury and performance to new extremes with the launch of the Continental GT Speed Breitling Jet Team Series.
This exclusive series is limited to just seven cars, each inspired by one of the seven Breitling Jets.

Extreme customization & immense speed

The Breitling Jet Team, supported by the independent Swiss watch company Breitling, is the world’s largest professional civilian flight team performing in jets. The team is comprised of seven L-39 C Albatros jets that can reach speeds of up to 565 mph and fly within just a few feet of each other.

Renowned for their precision, speed and daring, this summer the Breitling Jet Team will be performing across the United States and Canada in a grand tour of epic proportions. To commemorate this spectacle, Bentley’s Mulliner division has re-imagined the Continental GT Speed to mirror the distinctive look of the Breitling Jets, fusing extreme customisation with immense speed.
The exterior is painted in a striking duo-tone split of Hallmark and Onyx with highlights colour matched to the exact Pantone of Breitling’s unique Yellow, reflecting the trademark look of the L-39 Albatros Jets. This bespoke colour theme is continued on the interior, with unique sculpted seats featuring accents in Breitling Yellow.

Taking customisation to new heights, each car is individually numbered and corresponds to one of the seven Breitling Jets. The dashboard’s carbon fibre fascia panel displays an image of the seven planes in their signature Avenger flight formation, with the corresponding jet highlighted in Breitling Yellow.

Similarly, Mulliner has matched the hide and thread to Breitling’s signature yellow and designed a series of logos and graphics for the headrests that highlight the number of each car and the jet that inspired it. The tread plate plaques are also individually numbered.

The series will debut at the Boeing Seafair Airshow on 31st July in Seattle, where the Breitling Jet Team is performing. The key for each car will be handed over to its owner by the corresponding plane’s pilot, but not until they have experienced a flight in the jet that inspired their car.

Geoff Dowding, Director of Mulliner, said: “The Continental GT Speed Breitling Jet Team Series demonstrates the level of customisation Mulliner can achieve for customers. Creating this very special edition has been an exciting experience for the entire team, taking inspiration from the Breitling Jet Team’s grand tour.”

The magnificent Stella Maris is the latest high profile addition to the Burgess sales fleet.
At 72.1 metres and 2,114 gross tonnes, Stella Maris is the largest custom superyacht to date from the young Italian yard Viareggio Superyachts (VSY).

A villa style yacht

Built by Viareggio Superyachts and ready for immediate delivery to a new owner, Stella Maris is a state-of-the-art superyacht with a striking, masculine profile and an impressive volume.

With an exterior design by Espen Øino, interior by Michela Reverberi and naval architecture by Laurent Giles Naval Architects, the brief for the project was to create a villa style yacht that would be home in any location.

Stella Maris’ lines are radical to some degree, barely hinting at the split deck arrangement of her interior, but instantly proclaiming the supremacy of glass. The idea, says Øino, was to ‘hit the perfect balance between form and function, innovation and technology, comfort and aesthetics’. Her bold, masculine hull colour, DuPont Metallic Grey, balances the height of the topsides with the off-white superstructure.

Stella Maris’ split-deck interior allows for an exceptionally high 2.7m ceiling in the guest areas, creating an unprecedented sense of space that is exacerbated by floor-to-ceiling, soundproofed glass windows. Michela Reverberi’s consciously uncluttered, contemporary interior helps to emphasise the light and space and has plenty of scope for personalisation by a new owner.

The interior design is the work of Michela Reverberi who has created a clean, refined atmosphere using natural stones, high quality fabrics and rare woods. To reinforce the link with nature and the feeling of a villa, it was important for VSY to include a living garden on board. A space aft of the main deck, which extends from the main salon to the upper deck salon, on the starboard side accommodates various plant life.
Stella Maris can accommodate 14 guests in seven cabins. The forward part of Stella Maris‘ main deck is given over to the guest suites: four doubles and two twins. Almost identical in layout, their differences lie mainly in the choice of furnishings and fabrics.

Above the bridge is the owner’s private deck which includes an 88 sqm apartment, a private terrace and sunbathing area with sofas. The owners can enjoy complete privacy as well as an unblemished view of the horizon from the bed!
The lower deck features a beach club aft, which is adjacent to a teak finished garage, which houses custom open and limo tenders. When the garage is not in use, the space extends the beach club area to a total of 164sqm.

Such a full volume yacht surprisingly has its quiet spaces – the best a hidden area on the top deck. Here, forward of the drama of two pools and the helideck is a semi-sheltered oasis, with huge lounges embraced by the stylist mast base.

“The ideal owner for Stella Maris would be someone who loves understated elegance, exclusivity and luxury. Somebody with a real love for the sea and respects the environment,” says VSY director Cristiana Longarini.

Stella Maris is the perfect retreat at the top of the world. The outstanding Stella Maris has been listed for sale by Burgess. Asking price: 75 000 000 €.

Bentley has revealed limited-edition versions of the Continental GT Speed, inspired by the Breitling Jets flying display team.
Built by the automaker’s personalization division Mulliner, the handcrafted models will debut at the Boeing Seafair Airshow in Seattle on July 31. Only seven examples of the limited edition model will be made and the automaker re-imagined the Continental GT Speed to mirror the distinctive look of the Breitling Jets. On the outside, it features a dual-tone split of Hallmark and Onyx with highlights color matched to the exact Pantone of Breitling’s unique Yellow, reflecting the trademark look of the L-39 Albatros Jets.

Inside, the same bespoke color scheme also features along with unique seats and new interior accents incorporating new stitching and logos for the upholstery. Each of the seven cars will be individually numbered and the dashboard’s carbon fiber fascia panel will showcase an image of the seven planes in their signature Avenger flight formation and finished in Breitling Yellow. The mechanicals of the cars have not been modified, which means that power comes from a 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine producing 626bhp and 607lb ft. The Breitling Jets is the largest civilian flying display team in the world and has been active since 2003. Bentley has confirmed that all seven cars have already been sold and the owner of the car will receive the keys from the corresponding plane’s pilot.
