Lady Kathryn V was delivered to her experienced owners in July 2011 and has since cruised the world's seven seas, ranging from the Baltic, the Mediterranean and the Bahamas. At 61 metres, this is a superyacht that is all about grace, exuding a sense of nobility that is instantly becoming and utterly inviting.

From her sleek and elegantly curved silhouette to her warm, voluminous interiors , Lady Kathryn Vis a gracious and classic styled superyacht, aiming for optimal and luxurious guest comfort.

The development of this superyacht was a great example of teamwork, with the captain, build engineer and yacht broker all working together in close cooperation with the experienced owners, supervising what would become a magnificent addition to the Lürssen fleet. Acclaimed designer Espen Øino successfully took on the challenge of designing an exterior look that combines classic allure with contemporary grace, balancing sleek and curved lines to form the vessel's confident features.

The super Yacht just got an upgrade and the outcome is a combination of a seaworthy vessel that’s also a miniature, exotic private island.
The Kokomo Ailand that’s being pitched by Migaloo Private Submarines is just out the most outrageous example of affluence you could have. Sure there are those who already own actual islands but what good is that when they’re stationary. It’s got to be boring when all you have is the same scenery around you all the time. But with the Kokomo Ailand, you can cruise around and take in a few sights along the way, all from the comfort of your very own private island, I mean Ailand.
The Designs showcase all the goodies of what looks like a fully fledged private villa complete with helipad, private elevators leading up to the penthouse that’s perched 260 feet above sea level, a private beach club, gym, sauna, glass-bottomed Jacuzzi, you name it and you can have it, that’s what the company says – to the owners specifications. This ‘floating habitat’ comes with eight engines that will propel the platform along at a speed of about 8 knots which is just about 9 MPH. That’s not as speedy as a mega yacht, but who cares when you have your own exotic jungle deck with palm trees, vertical gardens, and waterfalls, right? Crew quarters have also been designed into the platform along with other special amenities like a shark-feeding station (we have no idea why), and an outdoor cinema.
Although the Migaloo says that they’re currently not producing any of these mobile islands just yet, they are in discussions with a few people to start. The logic is that their designs could be converted for personal/private use as well as for commercial purposes like a floating Casino or a hotel. The price of each of these would of course depend heavily on the level of customisation required, but the company says that it’s possible to put these ideas into production as of now using existing technology.

Considered to be the finest yacht in the Benetti “Golden Bay” series, QM of London is a 49.90 metre motor yacht built and launched by Benetti Shipyard in 1998. Back on the charter market following various refits over the years (2006, 2013, 2015), QM of London is looking better than ever.

Unique, Private, Exhilarating

Built to the highest standards by the Italian shipyard Benetti in 2006, the 49,9m luxury motor yacht QM of London represents a fantastic charter yacht belonging to the beautiful Benetti Golden Bay series. QM of London received various refits over the years (2006, 2013, 2015), keeping her in an immaculate shape, always offering only the best to her guests.
QM of London has a unique seven-cabin layout, rarely seen on charter yachts. The accommodation is divided into one deluxe full-beam owner’s suite, two gorgeous VIP suites and four elegant guest cabins (1 double, 2 twin) making the yacht highly versatile, for groups of friends, families or guests bringing additional staff.

The spectacular Owner’s suite runs the entire width of the top deck. It features large ensuite, walk-in wardrobe and two lounge areas and a 43 inch plasma TV. Extra privacy through full black-out screens or sliding opaque panels. The lower deck has 4 guest cabins, one single/standard double bed and three twins. On the main deck are 2 elegant VIP staterooms with queen size beds. Each cabin boasts an ensuite bath or shower-room.
QM of London saw an extensive refit in winter 2014/15 including new bulbous bow for smoother cruising, upgraded IT/AV network, new joinery, soft furnishings and furniture, and a refit of the galley including all-new equipment. High speed internet and Bang and Olufsen AV systems were fitted throughout the yacht with exceptional sound clarity. Each cabin and exterior area has its own iPad and B&O remote for ease of control.

Moreover, the interiors were fully refitted with bespoke Ben Whistler furniture, oak finishings (lined, pippy and burled) and Terry O’Neill prints. Versatile exterior deck spaces include dining options for 12, al fresco cinema, sundeck gym, Jacuzzi, bar with lounge area and vast sunpads.

The outstanding QM of London crew includes a passionate chef, masseuse/beauty therapist and qualified yoga instructor for indulgence, as well as kitesurfing, hoverboard and Flyboard instructors for the sporty. ”The 2014/15 refit was born out of both the Owner’s and my wish to restore QM of London to an “as new” standard and cement her reputation as a premier charter yacht in the industry,” Says Captain Craig Martin. “We are extremely pleased with the results and will continue to do everything we can to ensure we exceed the expectations of our guests. Keep an eye out for QM of London over the summer and for more upgrades over the 2015/16 winter.”

The magnificent Stella Maris is the latest high profile addition to the Burgess sales fleet.
At 72.1 metres and 2,114 gross tonnes, Stella Maris is the largest custom superyacht to date from the young Italian yard Viareggio Superyachts (VSY).

A villa style yacht

Built by Viareggio Superyachts and ready for immediate delivery to a new owner, Stella Maris is a state-of-the-art superyacht with a striking, masculine profile and an impressive volume.

With an exterior design by Espen Øino, interior by Michela Reverberi and naval architecture by Laurent Giles Naval Architects, the brief for the project was to create a villa style yacht that would be home in any location.

Stella Maris’ lines are radical to some degree, barely hinting at the split deck arrangement of her interior, but instantly proclaiming the supremacy of glass. The idea, says Øino, was to ‘hit the perfect balance between form and function, innovation and technology, comfort and aesthetics’. Her bold, masculine hull colour, DuPont Metallic Grey, balances the height of the topsides with the off-white superstructure.

Stella Maris’ split-deck interior allows for an exceptionally high 2.7m ceiling in the guest areas, creating an unprecedented sense of space that is exacerbated by floor-to-ceiling, soundproofed glass windows. Michela Reverberi’s consciously uncluttered, contemporary interior helps to emphasise the light and space and has plenty of scope for personalisation by a new owner.

The interior design is the work of Michela Reverberi who has created a clean, refined atmosphere using natural stones, high quality fabrics and rare woods. To reinforce the link with nature and the feeling of a villa, it was important for VSY to include a living garden on board. A space aft of the main deck, which extends from the main salon to the upper deck salon, on the starboard side accommodates various plant life.
Stella Maris can accommodate 14 guests in seven cabins. The forward part of Stella Maris‘ main deck is given over to the guest suites: four doubles and two twins. Almost identical in layout, their differences lie mainly in the choice of furnishings and fabrics.

Above the bridge is the owner’s private deck which includes an 88 sqm apartment, a private terrace and sunbathing area with sofas. The owners can enjoy complete privacy as well as an unblemished view of the horizon from the bed!
The lower deck features a beach club aft, which is adjacent to a teak finished garage, which houses custom open and limo tenders. When the garage is not in use, the space extends the beach club area to a total of 164sqm.

Such a full volume yacht surprisingly has its quiet spaces – the best a hidden area on the top deck. Here, forward of the drama of two pools and the helideck is a semi-sheltered oasis, with huge lounges embraced by the stylist mast base.

“The ideal owner for Stella Maris would be someone who loves understated elegance, exclusivity and luxury. Somebody with a real love for the sea and respects the environment,” says VSY director Cristiana Longarini.

Stella Maris is the perfect retreat at the top of the world. The outstanding Stella Maris has been listed for sale by Burgess. Asking price: 75 000 000 €.
